Services

Our services include emergency room and specialty services for most companion and small farm animals. Specific information on services can be found via the links to your left.

Emergency Room

We are fully equipped and staffed around the clock, and are available at anytime should your pet experience an emergency. Dr. Michelle Savigny provides full-time critical care support in our ER and is also available for consultation with referred cases.

Surgery

Dr. Barbro Nordquist provides full-time surgical services, including orthopedic and spinal procedures. Emergency surgeries and procedures are always available from our fantastic ER doctors. Following surgery, you can rest assured knowing that your pet will receive constant 24-hour monitoring and aftercare until ready to go home (or transfer back to your family veterinarian).

Neurology

Dr. Dan Hicks provides full-time neurology services at our Tacoma facility and on a mobile basis in the greater Olympia area. Neurologic emergencies are generally admitted through our ER for an initial evaluation and supportive care. Our ER doctors will then facilitate a consultation with Dr. Hicks, if appropriate.

NEW! Select neurology services - including consultations, rechecks, and minor diagnostics - are now available with Dr. Hicks at the Olympia Pet Emergency facility on Fridays.

Internal Medicine

Dr. Brad Green and our Internal Medicine Service works with the area's veterinary practitioners to provide elite care to those patients with internal medicine diseases.

MR Imaging (MRI)

MRI is often considered the gold standard for generating images of the brain and spine. MRI is also favorable in certain extended soft tissue studies.

Additional Services

Additional specialties available include imaging consultations, rehabilitation therapy, ultrasound and acupuncture. We encourage you or your family veterinarian to call if your pet needs specialty care. If we don't provide the specialty service your pet requires, we can usually help you find a facility that does.
